Reactjs – Why am I getting "File is not a module" error in TypeScript

I have been staring at this code too long and I cannot figure out why I am getting an error that this is not a module.

This is a NextJS project running Tailwind, Auth0 and MongoDB. I am using Auth0 for authentication and have no issues with that on a sister site. The only difference is that I am loading Auth0 in layout.tsx as a server component. I can run npm run dev and the application works fine. But when I try to build it, I get the following:

What am I missing?

I have tried removing .next folder, removing all node modules and reinstalling with npm install. I do not see any errors this way.
