You need to update your AWS CLI to >2.7.25 or the latest (recommended), ensure your CLI is pointing to the right region, then try
eksctl utils write-kubeconfig --cluster=<name>
. Open the kubeconfig file and checkclient.authentication.k8s.io/v1alpha1
has changed toclient.authentication.k8s.io/v1beta1
.For me, it worked with awscli v2
