I am using vue cdn link in welcome.blade.php file. I used script in welcome blade. And in app.js I defined vue instances.

require('./bootstrap');
import Vue from 'vue';
let app = new Vue({
    el:'#app',
    data:{
        name:'project',
    }
});

export default app ;

Then Use of undefined constant name – assumed ‘name’ (this will throw an Error in a future version of PHP) (View: C:xampphtdocstestresourcesviewswelcome.blade.php) occurs. How to fix it? And how should I manage the files so it can load properly and I can work with vue-router and components.
This is my welcome blade file when I move the script content in resource/app.js file

  2. Dont use app.js and but if you want to use vue from app.js kindly install Vue in laravel in proper way that is recomended. If you are using Vue via cdn you need to create vue app inside same file like this.

    <script>

        const { createApp } = Vue
        createApp({
        data() {
          return {
            name: 'project'
          }
        }
      }).mount('#app')

    </script>
