We’ve an e-commerce website which is based on WordPress WooCommerce, we receive nearly 1000 orders a day. Products are simple and variation and even of type bundle.
Issue
The table woocommerce_order_itemmeta alone is now or more than 50 GB and impacting the performance also, backups are also extremely huge.
Is there a way we can move the orders older than 3 months to some other tables and if the user is checking for orders older than 3 months in My Orders, the queries are fired on these archive tables
I’m sure this is not a unique problem, a solution / suggestion is highly appreciated.
